House concerts are intimate music performances conducted by invitation and hosted in a private home, apartment, or small spaces like a barn, apartment rec room, garden, or backyard. In my world, they are semi-acoustic shows for you and your friends. The best part is that house concerts need not cost the host a cent because they are typically potluck.

Some music fans feel a deep connection to a touring artist, and many of these fans feel blessed to be able to contribute to a musical dream and to see it happen in their home.
House concerts are a great way to unite friends and build community. They can foster new friendships and create memorable moments among friends. House concert hosts often become taste-makers in their community and even inspire music scenes to develop in their communities.
House concerts provide an inspiring reason to make good use of the sprawling spaces we inhabit by sharing a uniquely memorable experience.
Music artists often create house concert opportunities where they live by starting their own series. The generous act of shining the light on someone else can be the catalyst for others to host house concerts. A local house concert scene can provide opportunities for the host/artist to find opportunities at someone else's house concert event.
House concerts are donation-based events. At the end of the music performance, guests donate what they feel the performance was worth. That might sound oversimplified and maybe even a little crazy, but it works. The house concerts I've performed have been wildly successful for the hosts, their guests, and the performers. I have many musician friends with similar stories to tell.
