Robonzo is a nickname given to me by a former band mate. It comes from my being a huge fan of John “Bonzo” Bonham, and my propensity for imitating his chops whenever the right opportunity presents itself. Drumming has been a passion of mine for many years, and while I’ve been an off again/on again player throughout those years, I’ve always gravitated toward the sound of drums on the many wonderful recordings and performances that my ears have had the pleasure of hearing.
This site was originally intended to provide noteworthy info about various aspects of drumming, but as of late is serving more as an place for occasional review and a repository for my own demo work.
I’m currently doing sessions and performing with local band Redwood. Live performances to support a forthcoming album will be booked throughout 2010. It’s going to be a great year!
