Jason Bonham likely hit a lifetime high when he took the stage with his father’s former band mates: Robert Plant, Jimmy Page and John Paul Jones, at the recent Zeppelin reunion. YouTube is flooded with clips from the show, my favorite of which was the live debut of For Your Life. Rolling Stone’s David Fricke wrote it up best, like it was still 1976. I look forward to Zep’s rumored return to The States.

I heard local rumor on local radio station KFOG that Zep is indeed planning some US shows, and that The Cult will open one or more of those shows. We shall see.

With all due respect to the other comments, I can only hope they don’t tour ever again. Have you seen the Police? Let’s not have these guys go out and “cover” their own material-for-a-buck. Plant and Page still take in millions of bucks annually for the stuff they did with the original lineup. Don’t ruin it guys!
Peace~

I remember hearing a while back that Dave Grohl was going to be at the drum stool for a Led Zeppelin tour. That was a huge deal for me as I’m a huge fan of Grohl’s. But everything Ive read regarding the led zep reunion makes me think Jason did a great job.
Plus, I’m sure Dave Grohl is busy with Foo Fighters stuff.
Anyway, I kind of agree…Zep bowed out gracefully when Bonham died. But they did that live aid thing in 85′ or so (which was horrible) and then this…so why not a tour??
