On the topic at hand, Sami hasn't been playing much lately, but still loves GreenDay and Tre. She kindly calls me her favorite drummer ever in the whole wide world. You've got me giggling because your wife and I have something in common. Due to the persistance of a friend, I "discovered" Green Day in late April. Something about them connected with me and allowed me to find my inner voice and inner musician. We had a "cocktail" drum kit set up that had hardly been played. My husband returned from a business trip to find that I had beaten the crap out of the poor thing but was impressed with what I had learned. He's a bass player. In late June we got me a five piece kit and we jam together. Yep, The Cool did it. I've watched many videos and my husband even admits that Tré is a very entertaining drummer to watch. Tré was the catalyst, but I do listen to other music. He was, however, the reason I ended up here on your blog. I was surfing for something else with him in mind, then this popped up. LOL! Hi!
