Saturday, Bill Berry rejoined REM for a three tune set as the band was inducted into the Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Since Berry’s departure nine years ago, the band has reunited on only a few occasions. The short but sweet performance included “Begin the Begin†from their 1986 release Life’s Richest Pageant. Berry was definitely part of the better years for REM fans. For those with a desire to update their REM collection with some best of, rarities and live performances, the band just released the two-CD set And I Feel Fine: The Best of the IRS Years, 1982-1987.
